It
is easy enough to use Photoshop to convert an image to black and white,
however using Photoshop's desaturate command is quite limiting, and
tosses away a lot of information that is in your image. The techique
I describe here takes advantage of Photoshop's channels feature to
give more control over the resulting black and white image, and keeps
all the original colour information Level: Easy. Requirements: Basic familiarity with Photoshop 4 or later.
