One of the conditions that I like to take advantage of when I can is inclement weather. This particular day, I was visiting my parents and it was raining quite heavily. I saw the sundial they have on their porch and liked how the rain soaked surface glistened. I felt that the contrast between the water droplets and the symbol of sun made for good subject matter, so I positioned myself such that the wet porch glass was behind the sundial, and so that the obscured sun illuminated the water droplets.
