Who
says you can't find good scenic shots in the middle of a city?
This was taken next to the Granville Island waterfront, a popular
tourist spot. I managed to position myself such that the buildings
were hidden behind the hill for this outdoor ampitheatre. This
is a favourite composition of mine because of the contrast between
the horizontal lines of the grassed steps against the vertical
trees, plus the contrast between the lively colour of the hill
and the sky versus the muted spindly trees. |
