Christmas
day provided more gifts than just what came under the tree.
While the family was resting after the morning events, I took
advantage of the rare heavy frost and warm sunlight. I headed
to Buntzen Lake, one of my favourite photo spots, where I suspected
I would find subject matter suitable for the available light.
What drew me to this composition was the contrast of the warm
yellow light with the cool blue of the boathouse and frost. |
